Stefan Gelbhaar

Stefan Gelbhaar (born 9 July 1976) is a German politician. Born in Friedrichshain, Berlin, he represents the Alliance 90/The Greens. Stefan Gelbhaar has served as a member of the Bundestag from the state of Berlin since 2017.[1]

Life

Gelbhaar has lived in the Berlin district of Pankow since 1980, was a pupil at the "Neumannschule" (30th POS) and the Carl-von-Ossietzky-Gymnasium, then a student at Humboldt University. He completed his legal clerkship in the state of Brandenburg. Afterwards he worked as a lawyer and criminal defence lawyer. Since September 2017 Stefan Gelbhaar has been a member of the German Bundestag, a member of the Committee on Transport and Digital Infrastructure and spokesman for his parliamentary group on urban mobility and cycling.[2][3]
