Hill Fire
The Hill Fire was a wildfire in 2017, east of Santa Margarita near Highway 58 in San Luis Obispo County, California. The fire burned an estimated 1,598 acres and destroyed four homes.

The fire
The fire started near Park Hill Road and La Entrada about 3:30 p.m. Monday, June 26, and expanded to 1,200 acres throughout the course of the day.[2] Evacuations were ordered for over 100 residents in the area of Huer Huero Road to Highway 58, including Black Mountain Resort, Blue and Blue Ridge roads.[2] The fire destroyed three structures also reportedly destroying actor Johnny Galecki’s ranch home.[3] The fire was contained on June 30.[1]
