Hartsook, California

Hartsook (also, Richardson Grove) is a former settlement in Humboldt County, California.[1] It was located 6.5 miles (10.5 km) south of Garberville.[1]

A post office opened at Hartsook in 1926, and was moved and renamed to Richardon Grove in 1938.[1] Richardson Grove refers to Richardson Grove State Park. Hartsook was named after photographer and resort owner Fred Hartsook.[1]
