Brickworks, Singapore

Brickworks is a subzone of Bukit Batok, Singapore.[2] It is bounded by Bukit Batok West Avenue 3/2/5 and Bukit Batok Road. This area is beside the planned HDB town, Tengah. There are also several new housing developments in this area. A new bus service, 944, was launched in Bukit Batok on August 27 2017, to serve one such new development in Bukit Batok West.[3]

New Housing Developments

In recent years, several new HDB developments have been launched in the area. These are West Terra@Bukit Batok (launched September 2014),[4] West Valley@Bukit Batok (launched May 2014), West Crest@Bukit Batok (launched May 2014),[5] West Ridges@Bukit Batok (launched November 2013),[6] West Edge@Bukit Batok, West Quarry@Bukit Batok (launched November 2015),[7] West Plains@Bukit Batok (launched February 2016)[8] and West Scape@Bukit Batok (launched August 2017). [9]

Upcoming Developments

There will also be a new commercial and residential area. It will be served as an upcoming neighbourhood centre.

Politics

It is part of Hong Kah North Single Member Constituency, itself a division of the former Hong Kah Group Representation Constituency. Currently it is now part of West Coast Group Representation Constituency.
