Administrative divisions of Kosovo
Kosovo[a] is administratively subdivided into districts (Albanian: rajone, Serbian: окрузи / okruzi).[1] They are further subdivided into municipalities (Albanian: komuna, Serbian: општина / opština).
The entities were created by UNMIK and based on the entities in the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija.

The Republic of Kosovo unilaterally declared independence on 17 February 2008, but Serbia continues to claim it as part of its own sovereign territory.
