2020–21 Moldovan National Division

The 2020–21 Moldovan National Division (Romanian: Divizia Națională) is the 30th season of top-tier football in Moldova. The season was scheduled to begin on 14 March 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Moldova the opening games of the season were delayed till 3 July 2020.[1] Sheriff Tiraspol are the defending champions. The winners of the league this season will earn a spot in the first qualifying round of the 2021–22 UEFA Champions League, and the second and third placed clubs will earn a place in the first qualifying round of the 2021–22 UEFA Europa Conference League.[2]

A total of 10 teams will contest the league. These include 8 teams from the 2019 season and two promoted teams from the "A" Division: Florești and Dacia Buiucani, both making their debut in the top flight.
