Nisporeni

Nisporeni (Romanian pronunciation: [nispoˈrenʲ]; Russian: Ниспорены) is a city located in the central part of Moldova. It has 20,000 inhabitants. The city is administrative center of the Nisporeni District.

History

The first historical appearance was in 1618.

The Romanian People's Salvation Cross, the largest cross in Moldova, was built in 2011 in Nisporeni.[3][4]
