Yahukimo Regency is one of the regencies (kabupaten) in Papua Province, Indonesia. It covers an area of 17,152 km2, and had a population of 164,512 at the 2010 Census;[1] the latest official estimate (as at January 2014) is 202,430. The administrative centre is Dekai.
Administrative Districts
The existing Yahukimo regency comprises 51 districts (kecamatan), tabulated below with their populations at the 2010 Census:.[2] However, proposals are currently under consideration by the Indonesian government to divide Yahukimo Regency into several new regencies.
