Vanambadi (Malayalam: വാനമ്പാടി) is an Indian Malayalam-language musical television drama on Asianet channel.The show airs from Monday to Saturday at 7:00 pm.[1] The show is the comeback of actress Chippy Renjith to the mini-screen and marks the debut of Telugu actor Sai Kiran into Malayalam industry. Child Actress Gauri essays the main protagonist of the series.[2]
It is the official remake of Telugu serial Koyilamma airing in Maa TV which is a remake of Bengali series Potol Kumar Gaanwala and Tamil version of the show Mouna Ragam airs on Star Vijay.
Plot
The story of the series, as the name suggests (Vanmbadi in Malayalam means nightingale, and female singers are usually referred so in India), revolves around a girl who had devoted her life fully for music.
Nandini encourages her daughter Anugraha to pursue her passion for music. However, she finds herself haunted by memories of a turbulent relationship with a famous musician.
