Kasthooriman is an Indian Malayalam television series directed by Krishna Moorthy. The show premieres on Asianet channel since December 11, 2017. It stars Rebecca Santhosh & Sreeram Ramachandran in the lead roles. [1] It airs every Monday to Friday at 8:30 PM (IST) on Asianet and anytime on Hotstar.[2]

The show is an essence remake of a Hindi TV series Kumkum Bhagya and in 2018, the show itself is remade into Telugu as Siri Siri Muvva which is being aired on Star Maa channel.

Plot

The serial starts with the introduction of a Trivandrum based family of Sethulakshmi (Praveena),who has 3 daughters which includes the Bullet motorcycle riding Kavya, an advocate, whereas Keerthy and Kalyani are students. The story is what happens in their happy family life. Kavya's mother is a widow handling Kalakshetra, gifted by King of Travancore. Kavya's marriage had called off once. Later, at present for the next time, a new proposal also get called off due to her future mother-in-law, who ,after realising about her past proposal call off, demands to register the property of her home and adjacent Kalakshetra's land in the name of both Kavya and Shyam. On hearing the demand, Kavya decides not to throw out her family to lead a happily married life. One among Kavya's sisters (keerthi)is a hard-core fan of Jeeva. Kavya's friend sreejith bhaskar who is also an advocate starts living in their out house along with his sister and mother.Sreejith falls in love with keerthi but she thinks his love is towards kavya .kavya also starts loving him .Later after their engagement kavya finds out that sreejith love keerthi and not her .
