Neelakkuyil is an Indian Malayalam television series directed by Manju Dharman. It is premiered on Asianet on 26 February 2018. The show is the remake of Mohi, a Hindi TV series aired on Star Plus which itself is a remake of Star Jalsha's series Ishti Kutum.[1].
Plot
Kasthoori (Snisha), a simple tribal love-girl is cogently married to Adithyan or Adhi (Nithin) , a young and intelligent journalist from the city. Adhi had decided to marry Rani (Lata) after 8 long years of love affair. But the events that happened in forest just before their wedding engagement changed every thing. Adhi is forced to marry Kasthuri, a tribal woman, when the villagers find them together in a hut on his visit to Poompara forest.
Unable to tell the truth, Adhi brings Kasthuri home as a servant to help his ailing mother, She is the illegitimate daughter of a renowned painter Sarath ( who is Rani's father). Issues evolve when Adithyan discloses about his girlfriend.[2].
