Sunnee Yang (born 28 September 1996), known by her stage name, Sunnee, is a Thai singer based in China. She is a member of A'N'D under K-L Entertaintment as a lead singer and lead dancer. She is part of Rocket Girls 101 after ranking 8th in the Produce 101 finals. Her first solo 《不哭》 was released on 19 September 2018.

Personal life

Yang was born in Thailand but moved to Taiwan. She attended Jinwen University of Science and Technology and majored in tourism.[1]

Career

2014-2016: First on-screen debut and debut with A'N'D

In 2014, Yang had a cameo appearance in the television series, "GTO Taiwan" and "The X-Domitory", both having only cameo appearances. On 19 November 2014, she debuted with her company's band, "A'N'D", also known as "Angel N Devil".[2] Their first single, titled "Angel and Devil" was the opening theme song for Sunnee's first lead role in Angel 'N' Devil.

In 2015, Yang's second lead role came soon after, playing as Feng Xiaoxiao in School Beauty's Personal Bodyguard.

Yang participated in iQiyi's The Birth of a Star in 2016 and had the chance to perform the opening theme of the show.[3]

2018-present: Produce 101 and Rocket Girls 101

In 2018, Yang, together with band mate Lucia, and trainees from the same company, participated in the Chinese reality survival girl group show Produce 101 aired from April 21 to June 23 on Tencent Video. Yang was placed 8th overall and debuted with Rocket Girls 101.[4]
