Tambaram — Chengalpattu

  • This section has single main line in which suburban trains as well as other trains are operated.
  • 9-car and 12-car EMU are operated in this sector.

Chengalpattu — Tirumalpur

  • Suburban trains run between Chennai Beach and Tirumalpur.

Tirumalpur — Arakkonam

  • Electrification of this section is under progress. Hence only passenger trains operate on this section at present.
