Santa Josefina (Portuguese for Saint Josephine) is a village in the southern part of São Tomé Island in São Tomé and Príncipe. Its population is 17 (2008 est.).[1] 2 km south is the southernmost point of the island and approximately 5 km south is the Equator. South of Santa Josefina are Vila Malanza and Porto Alegre.
The village is off the small road linking the capital São Tomé and Porto Alegre, Route 1 that runs in the east of the island.
