S. P. Velumani (Tamil: எஸ். பி. வேலுமணி ; born 10 May 1969) is an Indian politician and incumbent Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu from Thondamuthur constituency. He is also the cabinet minister for Municipal Administration, Rural Development, Corporations, Panchayats and Panchayat Unions, Poverty Alleviation Programmes, Rural Indebtedness, Urban and Rural Water Supply (TWAD) and Implementation of Special Programme.

Velumani is the chairman of Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board. He is one of the members of the Standing Committees of Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. He is one of the senior leaders of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam political party which was previously led by charismatic leader Selvi. J. Jayalalithaa and currently by the present Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami. Velumani is one of the organisational secretaries, prominent member of the General Council and also the District Secretary of Coimbatore Rural District of the AIADMK party which is currently in power in Tamil Nadu and is the third largest party in the Indian Parliament.

Velumani is a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu for three times continuously. He was first elected from the Perur constituency in 2006, then the Perur constituency was removed in 2007 when the constituency bifurcation was done. Some areas of the Perur constituency were added to Thondamuthur constituency then he was elected twice from the Thondamuthur constituency.[1] In 2016 Assembly elections, even though the polling percentage of Thondamuthur constituency was 63.4, Velumani has won with a margin of 64,041 votes which is the third highest winning margin in that election.
