Summer Youth Olympics appearances

Russia is competing at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 6 to 18 October 2018. A total of 94 athletes will compete in 24 sports. There will be no Russian athletes in badminton, canoeing, equestrian, field hockey, golf, roller speed skating, rowing, rugby sevens and weightlifting.[1]

The Olympic banner was passed to Kliment Kolesnikov by Stanislav Pozdnyakov, president of the Russian Olympic Committee.
