Qujiang (postal: Kukong; Chinese: 曲江; pinyin: Qǔjiāng) is a district of Shaoguan, Guangdong province, China.

Qujiang District, lower jurisdiction of Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, Qujiang was set up in 111 BC (six years from Emperor Wudi of Han Dynasty), and the county was set aside in May 2004. It was listed in August 3rd of the same year. In the middle of northern Guangdong, the upper reaches of the North River, from ancient to "the hub of economic and cultural exchanges between the north and south of the Wuling, the throat of Hunan, Guangdong and Jiangxi transportation", Jingguang railway, Beijing Zhuhai Expressway, Shaoguan expressway, 106 National Road and North River cross the North and south, 323 national road crossing the East and the west, provincial road and local highway crisscross. The Qujiang district is the birthplace of the human ancestor "Ma Ba people" 130 thousand years ago, and it is the birthplace of "the stone gorge culture", and one of the cradles of the ancient Chinese culture. Qujiang belongs to Guangdong Province. It was originally a barbarian land. From Qin Dynasty, it moved to Guangdong Province (221 years ago to 206 years ago). In the Tang and Song Dynasties, the Central Plains people avoided the disturbance of the mountains. Qujiang's aboriginal ethnic group is mostly from Jiangxi and Fujian, and has experienced many generations. Hakka people account for more than 80% of the total population of Qujiang. Qujiang is known as "the hometown of nonferrous metals", and there are many large industrial enterprises such as Shaoguan iron and steel plant and Shaoguan power plant. The amount of water resources is 268 thousand and 700 kW, and the forest coverage is over 70%. It is one of the 400 counties (districts) of electrified hydropower and rural areas in China, one of the 100 key coal producing counties (districts) in China and one of the key forestry counties (districts) in the Province.
