Pakistani football league system
The Pakistan football league system consists of interconnected leagues for football clubs in Pakistan. The system has a hierarchical format with promotion and relegation between leagues. The 2016 PFF Cup is currently the main football tournament in Pakistan.
Pakistan Premier League
The defunct PPL was composed of 16 clubs. Each season, the bottom two clubs were relegated and are replaced by the top two clubs from the PFFL.
