PIA Township (Urdu: پی آئی اے ٹاؤن شپ) also known as PIA Colony is Pakistan International Airlines flat complex which is a major residential neighborhood & gated community located in Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority area of Faisal Cantonment in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The township was built for the employees working in PIA. The township has at least 1100 flats. The township is next to the Jinnah International Airport.

Location and layout

Shahrah-e-Faisal is the main road from the front entrance that connects the society to the city which does not allow vehicles to enter. The University Avenue is the second road which connects to the township which allows cars to enter the township. Society is also near Natha Khan Bus Stop, Acacia Country and Golf Club, University of Karachi, Lucky One Mall, Karachi Race Club, Drigh Colony railway station, Metro Cash and Carry and Karachi Safari Park.

Facilities

The township also has PIA Township Masjid, PIA Model Secondary School, Air Hostess Hostel and PIA Township Dispencery. Also many grocery and many other kinds of shops are also located in the township.

Security

The society lies in the Airport Police Station area. At the south and east entrances, there are several PIA township security guards who inspect and surveil foot or motor traffic coming in and out of the society for the security of the township.

PIA Boy Scouts Association (PIA-BSA)

PIA has its own Boy Scouts Association (PIA-BSA) located in the township which is working in partnership with Pakistan Boy Scouts Association.
