National University of Medical Sciences, commonly referred as NUMS, is a public research university located in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.[1][2]. It is run by the Pakistan Army Medical Corps and is recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan for degree awarding status. NUMS is also accredited by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan for undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and training. The university was established in 2015. Previously Army Medical College (which is military-run medical institute)[3][4] was affiliated with NUST but now it is a constituent college of NUMS.
