Moyen-Chari is one of the 23 regions of Chad and its capital is Sarh. Its economy is based on subsistence agriculture, breeding, cotton and sugarcane.
Demography
The region's population was 588,008 inhabitants in 2009.[1]
The main ethnolinguistic groups are the Sara and the Tupuri.
