Mama Bagunnava (English: Father-in-law, Are You Fine) is a 1997 Telugu comedy film, produced by Jayakrishna under the Jayakrishna Movies banner[3] and directed by Kodi Ramakrishna.[4] It stars Rajendra Prasad, Naresh, Rambha, Mohini in the lead roles and Bhanupriya in a crucial role, with music composed by Vidyasagar.[5] The film is remake of the Tamil movie Vanaja Girija (1994). The film was recorded as a flop at the box office.[6]
Plot
Dhanumjayam (Kota Srinivasa Rao), is a rich businessman, his wife is Sundarambal Iyer (Kovai Sarala) and his two sons Gopala Krishna (Rajendra Prasad) is a veterinarian and Janakiram (Naresh), a doctor. Jaya (Rambha) and (Mohini) live with their mother Parvathamma (Subha), their father Prakash Rao (Eeswar Rao) escaped when they were young because Dhanumjayam implemented him in a robbery. So they decide to take revenge on Dhanumjayam, by trapping both his charming sons into love and marrying them. The rest of the story is how Jaya and Vijaya teach a lesson to Dhanumjayam with the help of a servant maid Gowri (Bhanupriya).
