The Professional Futsal League is a planned professional futsal league in the United States. The league was founded in 2016 and intended to begin play in 2018.

The league's activities stalled and their website having not been updated since June 10, 2016.[1] There has been no recent announcement on whether plans to form a league in North America are continuing.

History

In February 2016, Mark Cuban purchased a principal ownership stake in the PFL.[2] In an attempt to build support for the league, the PFL announced an All-Star Game to be played on August 4, 2016 in Orlando.[3] Following the All-Star game, there has been no known news of continuing to develop in North America.
