Lopamudra Raut is an Indian model, beauty queen and actress from Maharashtra.[3] She represented India at the Miss United Continents 2016 pageant where she was crowned 2nd Runner Up.[4][5] She also won 'Best National Costume' for India at the pageant.[6] In 2016, she appeared as a contestant in the Colors TV's Bigg Boss 10 where she was the 2nd Runner Up.[7] Then she went on to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 where she was as a Semi Finalist.

Currently, she is shooting for her debut Bollywood film, a psychological thriller named Blood Story.[8][9]

Education

Raut is an Electrical Engineer. She did B.E in Electrical engineering from G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur in 2014.

Career

Modeling and pageantry

Raut participated in Femina Miss India Goa in 2013 where she finished as 1st Runner Up. It gave her a direct entry to participate in Femina Miss India 2013, where she was a Finalist. She then participated in Femina Miss India 2014 where she won the subtitle of 'Miss Body Beautiful' and made it to the Top 5. In the same year, she took part in the Miss Diva 2014 pageant and made it to top 7 as a Finalist.[10] In 2016, she was selected by Femina organizers to compete in Miss United Continents pageant.[4] Raut was crowned as 2nd Runner Up at Miss United Continents 2016 which took place on 25 September 2016, in Guayaquil, Ecuador.[5]

Television

In 2016, Raut entered the Bigg Boss 10 house as a celebrity contestant. She came out as the 2nd Runner Up. In 2017, Raut participated in Colors TV's stunt show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 and finished as a Semi Finalist.[11]

Films

Raut will make her film debut with Blood Story, a psychological thriller.[9]

Raut was ranked 5th in Maharashtra's Most Desirable Women list.[12] She was also listed in Times of India's 50 Most Desirable Women 2017.[13]
