Srinidhi Ramesh Shetty (born 21 October 1992) is an Indian model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Diva - Miss Supranational India in the Miss Diva - 2016 and also Miss Supranational 2016. She is also an actress in the Kannada cinema.

Early life

Srinidhi Ramesh Shetty is the daughter of Ramesh Shetty who hails from Mulki and Kushala Shetty who hails from Thalipady Guthu, Kinnigoli, Mangalore.[1] She did her schooling in Sri Narayana Guru English Medium School, Mulki followed by PUC at St. Aloysius Pre-University College, Mangalore, Karnataka. She received her degree in Electrical engineering at Jain University,[2] Bangalore and graduated with distinction.

Career

In 2015, she participated in Manappuram Miss South India and won Miss Karnataka and Miss Beautiful smile [3] and later participated in Manappuram Miss Queen [4] and won the title of 1st runner up [5] and later, went on to walk the ramp for many designers while she was still working for Accenture.

In 2016, she participated in Miss Diva - 2016 - Miss Universe India, where she was one among thousands of aspirants. She went on to win the Miss Supranational India [6][7] (Miss Diva - 1st runner up)[8][9] title at the pageant. She also won 3 subtitles for her smile, body and her photogenic face. She went on to represent India at Miss Supranational 2016 in Poland on 2 December 2016 and won it. She was crowned by 2015 titleholder Stephania Stegman of Paraguay. She also won the title of Miss Supranational Asia and Oceania 2016 and thereby became the successor of Aafreen Rachel Vaz who was crowned Miss Supranational Asia and Oceania 2015.[10]

During her reign, she has traveled to France, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and numerous trips around Poland and India.

Currently she is acting in a Kannada movie named K.G.F., which will be acting debut. The movie is being directed by Prashanth Neel and stars Yash.[11]
