Llandyfriog is a community in the county of Ceredigion, Wales including the Adpar part of Newcastle Emlyn, and is 66.5 miles (107.1 km) from Cardiff and 187.8 miles (302.3 km) from London.[1][2] In 2011 the population of Llandyfriog was 1835 with 54.7% of them able to speak Welsh.[3]
The community includes the villages of Bangor Teifi, Trebedw, Bryndioddef-isaf, Glyncaled, Berthyfedwen and Pont Ceri. Castell Pistog fortified mound lies in the community.
