List of international cricket five-wicket hauls on the West Indies cricket grounds
The West Indies cricket team played their first international cricket in 1890s, and were later awarded Test status in 1928, which made West Indies the fourth Test cricket playing nation. The team played first international ODI during 1973 and has been one of the strongest cricketing nations of the world, where West Indies became the World Champions in two consecutive times as well. They have gained T20I on 2006 against New Zealand. They won 2012 ICC World Twenty20 and 2016 ICC World Twenty20 becoming the only nation to win two T20 World Cups.
There are many more world-famous cricket grounds in West Indies, which comprised six cricket associations. These pitches are renowned for spinning slow tracks, and some equipped with bounce as well. Sabina Park, situated in Jamaica, is one of the oldest cricket grounds in the world, which hosted its first international match in 1930.
In cricket, a five-wicket haul (also known as a "five-for" or "fifer")[1][2] refers to a bowler taking five or more wickets in a single innings. This is regarded as a notable achievement.[3] The following list is about the five-wicket hauls taken at New Zealand cricket grounds.
