Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium, (Bengali: শেখ আবু নাসের স্টেডিয়াম) previously known as Bir Shrestha Shahid Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Stadium is a cricket venue in Khulna, Bangladesh. The stadium holds 15,000 people and opened in 2004.[1] It is the home stadium of the local Bangladesh Premier League franchise Khulna Titans. It was granted One Day International (ODI) status in January 2006. The stadium became the seventh Test venue in the country when it hosted the second Test between Bangladesh and West Indies in November 2012.[2] The venue also hosted first ever Twenty20 International matches in Bangladesh in 2006 where the home team played against Zimbabwe. The West Indies cricketer Fidel Edwards and Ravi Rampaul took the first ever 5-fer at this ground in Test and ODI respectively. Shakib Al Hasan took his first ever 10 wicket haul in test cricket at this venue and became the third cricketer to hit a century and pick up 10 wickets in a test.[3]
