List of Golden Gate Transit routes

Golden Gate Transit (GGT) operates 29 bus routes including 5 Regional routes and 24 Commute routes.[1] Schedules are updated quarterly to improve schedule reliability and efficiency.[2] Route information listed below is current as of 10 June 2018.[3]

Regional service

A bus on Route 101 in San Rafael.

Golden Gate Transit operates 5 Regional bus routes. Prior to June 2016, these were known as Basic routes. Routes 30, 40, 70, and 101 provide daily service (including holidays) between San Francisco, Marin, Sonoma, and Contra Costa Counties. They use 40-ft buses, except some Route 101 trips on weekends, when 45-ft commuter buses are provided on that route. Route 40X operates during weekday peak periods only.

A bus on Route 73, which was discontinued in 2010, in San Francisco.

GGT operates 24 Commute bus routes. All except Routes 4, 27, and 31 operate during weekday peak periods only; Routes 4 and 27 operate all day on weekdays. Route 31 operates daily.
