Line 6 of the Chengdu Metro (Chinese: 成都地铁6号线; pinyin: Chéngdū Dìtiě Lǐu Hào Xiàn) runs from Pi County to Tianfu New District. It starts at Taiqing Road (Sichuan Film and Television College) and ends at Guandong Road (Zhengjialin). The total length is 59.2 km (36.8 mi) with 47 stations. Line 6's color is brown. This line began construction in 2016, with expected completion in late 2020.[1] The line will use high capacity 8 car Type A trains.[2]
