Light Vessel No. 57, also known as Lightship 57, is a sunken lightvessel in Lake Michigan off the coast of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The ship was built in 1891 by the Blythe Craig Shipbuilding Company of Toledo, Ohio. It was one of three federally commissioned Great Lakes lightvessels, which were used in locations where a permanent lighthouse was prohibitively expensive. Lightship 57 was stationed at Grays Reef, a reef to the west of the Straits of Mackinac; the reef is now the site of the Grays Reef Light. It was retired from federal service in 1923 and moved to Milwaukee. In 1928, the former lightship became a clubhouse off of Milwaukee's South Shore Beach; it served as such for several years before sinking in a storm.[2]

The shipwreck was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 23, 1991.[1]
