Khosrowshah (Persian: خسروشاه; also known as Khosrowshahr, Khusraushāh, and Khusroshāh)[2] is a city and capital of Khosrowshah District, in Tabriz County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 12,794, in 3,619 families.[3]

The city got its name from Khusrau Shah, king of the Justanids during the 10th century. The words "Khosrow" and "Shah" are both Iranian words that mean "king".
