Joël Lightbound MP (born February 8, 1988) is a Canadian Liberal politician, who was elected to represent the riding of Louis-Hébert in the House of Commons of Canada in the 2015 federal election.[2]

In 2008, Lightbound was awarded the Cardinal Roy Trophy from CEGEP Champlain.[3] He later attended McGill Law School, where he was awarded a prize for his participation in the National Laskin Moot.[4] He initially articled with the Montreal offices of Fasken Martineau, and prior to his election practised law in the Quebec City area, specializing in immigration.[5]
