Jhaukhel is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Changunarayan Municipality in Province No. 3 of central Nepal.[1] At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5,213 with 901 houses in it.Most of the peoole are engaged in agriculture. About 80% of people are newar here.[2]
