International University of Business Agriculture and Technology is also known as (IUBAT) is the first non-government university in Bangladesh. It was established in 1991 under the Private University Act 1992.[2] The university is also a full member of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), London.[3]

IUBAT has six colleges:[4]

  • College of Business Administration (CBA): CBA has been accepted as a Member of Graduate Management Admission Council of United States[3]
  • College of Agricultural Science (CAS)
  • College of Engineering And Technology (CEAT)
  • College of Nursing (CN) (Accredited by Bangladesh Nursing Council)
  • College of Arts and Sciences (CAAS)
  • College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM)

Accreditation

IUBAT has signed articulation agreements with 97 institutions in the United States, Canada, England, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Thailand and Australia. IEB

Agreements

The university has an articulation agreement with Indiana Purdue University, Indiana and College of Agriculture of the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, USA. IUBAT offers the 2 years course work under both Purdue University and University of Florida.
