Haribansh Singh is an Indian politician and a member of the Apna Dal; and has won the Indian general elections, 2014 from the Pratapgarh (Lok Sabha constituency).[1]
Early life and education
He hails from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh.[2] He is Graduate in B.Sc. from T.D. College, Jaunpur, Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur.[3] He married Indrawati Singh on March 20, 1962, but he is now a widower.[4]
Career
He is business man from Mumbai.[5] Kunwar Haribansh Singh elected to 16th Lok Sabha of Indian Parliament[6] on 16 May 2014 from Pratapgarh (Lok Sabha constituency), Uttar Pradesh.[7][8]
Social and Cultural Activities: Arranged group wedding of poor girls at own cost; Financial support for sick people through Smt. Sonpatti Devi Memorial Medical Trust; and Financial help to poor students towards their payment of school fees, books and uniforms.
