Following the protests, students from the university organized a peaceful protest to stand against the oppression.[5][6]
Satish sparked controversy once more in the month of May when a video surfaced of the MP abusing power in an attempt to interfere with the railway schedule. In the video, he is seen yelling at an official, demanding that the Vaishali Express enter the station before the scheduled Rajdhani Express due to the regional president of BJP arriving from the former.[7]
