Guerrilla Cambridge (formerly Millennium Interactive Ltd. and later SCEE Cambridge) was a British video game developer based in Cambridge, England. Founded in 1989 by Michael Hayward, Tony Beckwith and Ian Saunter, the company was primarily known for developing the MediEvil series on the original PlayStation and the PlayStation Portable.

History

On 4 July 1997, the Millennium development studio, along with several of the projects in development, was sold to Sony Computer Entertainment and renamed to SCEE Cambridge Studio. 12 games were developed under this new name, which spanned across the first three PlayStation home consoles and the PlayStation Portable. Among these were three MediEvil games, two for the PlayStation and one for the PlayStation Portable. They also contributed to multiple other games including Killzone 2, Heavenly Sword and PlayStation Home.

On 10 January 2012, Sony Computer Entertainment restructured Cambridge as a subsidiary of Guerrilla Games, primarily to develop Killzone games for the PlayStation Vita.[2] Sony Computer Entertainment then rebranded the studio as Guerrilla Cambridge.[3] On 12 January 2017, Sony confirmed the closure of Guerrilla Cambridge.[4]
