Farm to Market Road 3412 (or FM 3412) is a former highway in Texas. It ran about 1.8 miles (2.9 km) from FM 1378 northwest of Wylie to FM 2514 near downtown Wylie. It was wholly within the city limits of Wylie. It was changed to UR 3412 in 1995 by Texas Department of Transportation and is being widened. A portion of route from FM 2514 to SH 78 was transferred to FM 2514 in 2009.[18]

FM 3412 began at an intersection with FM 1378 in Wylie, Collin County, heading east on two-lane undivided West Brown Street. The road headed through a mix of fields and woods with some commercial development. Farther east, the highway headed into residential areas with some businesses. FM 3412 crossed a Kansas City Southern railroad line before ending at FM 2514.[18][19][20]

FM 3412 was designated in 1977 to run from FM 544 near Murphy east to SH 78 in Wylie. In 1978, the two highways switched alignments, with FM 3412 running from FM 1378 east to SH 78 in Wylie. FM 3412 was designated as Urban Road 3412 in 1995.[21] The portion of route from FM 2514 to SH 78 was transferred to FM 2514 in 2009.

Farm to Market Road 3428 (or FM 3428) is a two-lane, state-maintained highway. It connects the western side of Lake Nocona, Texas in Montague County to FM 2634.

FM 3428 begins at an intersection with Gilbert Road west of Lake Nocona in Montague County, where the road heads south as Keck Reynolds Road. From this intersection, the highway heads north as an unnamed two-lane undivided road, running through open farm fields. FM 3428 intersects FM 1106, which heads east to provide access to Lake Nocona, before ending at a junction with FM 2634. North of this intersection, the road continues north as Carpenter Road.[39][38][40]

FM 3428 was designated onto its current alignment in 1981.[38]

Farm to Market Road 3438 (FM 3438) is a farm to market road in the U.S. state of Texas that is located on the west side of Abilene. FM 3438 begins at U.S. Highway 277 (US 277) near the Quail Hollow subdivision and travels to the north and passes to the east of Dyess Air Force Base before ending at I20. A section of FM 3438 has frontage roads. They are located between Hartford Street to US 84 for the northbound lanes, and between Military Drive and US 84 on the southbound lanes. These frontage roads are a continuation of the frontage roads on eastbound US 84.[52]

In 1995, the Texas Department of Transportation re-designated FM 3438 from I20 to US 277 as Urban Road 3438.[53] In 2008 TxDOT began reconstruction of the intersection of FM 3438 & I-20 Bus/US 84, which was turned into an interchange.

FM 3470 begins at an intersection with SH 201 near the Killeen–Fort Hood Regional Airport. The highway runs through an area that features a mix of residential and commercial properties and has a junction with SH 195. FM 3470 continues to run through commercial and residential areas and has a junction with I-14 / US 190 just before ending at an intersection with FM 2410.

FM 3470 was designated in 1985, running from US 190 east of Killeen near Nolan Road, westward and northward to near Clear Creek Road west of Killeen at a distance of 7.8 miles (12.6 km). In 1989, the highway was re-aligned, running from US 190 at Clear Creek Road, southward, eastward, and northward to US 190 at Elms Road at a distance of 8.9 miles (14.3 km). All of FM 3470 was internally re-designated as Urban Road 3470 by TxDOT in 1995.[88] The section of highway along Clear Creek Road was transferred to SH 201 in 2002.[89]

FM 3479 begins at FM 156 in northern Fort Worth.[106] It travels east and then north along Harmon Road East, and is a two-lane roadway for its entire length. The route passes through rural, undeveloped portions of the city before ending at an interchange with the US 81 / US 287 freeway.[107]

FM 3479 was designated in 1986, along its current route. Despite being a relatively rural route, TxDOT internally transferred the mileage of the highway to Urban Road 3479 (UR 3479) in 1995; as with other urban roads, signage still uses the traditional Farm Road marker.[107]

The highway was internally re-designated as Urban Road 3487 by TxDOT on June 27, 1995.[118] The designation, along with those of several other routes in Bexar County, was canceled on December 18, 2014 and control was returned to the city of San Antonio.[119]
