Chik Baraik (also Chik or Baraik) are a Community or Jāti who were traditionally Weaver of Chota Nagpur Plateau region in Indian State Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal and Odisha. [1] [2]
Present circumstances
The Chik Baraik classified as a Scheduled Tribe in Bihar, Jharkand and West Bengal.[3]
