Brooks is a crater on Mercury in the southwestern portion of the planet, it is east of the eastern rim of the much larger and prominent crater Dostoevskij. It has a diameter of 34 kilometers. Its name was adopted by the International Astronomical Union on September 25, 2015. Brooks is named for the American poet and novelist Gwendolyn Brooks, who lived from 1917 to 2000.[1]
North-northeast is the larger Barma.
