Mena is a ray crater[1] in the Beethoven quadrangle on Mercury. It has a diameter of 25 kilometers.[2] Its name was adopted by the International Astronomical Union in 1976. Mena is named for the Spanish poet Juan de Mena, who lived from 1411 to 1456.[3]
Its ray systems protrudes as far west as the vicinity of Lysippus.[1] West of Mena is a larger unnamed crater whose ray system protrudes into that crater.[1] North is the much larger Vieira da SIlva crater.
