William Buchanan Benson (born June 16, 1998) is an American baseball outfielder in the Cleveland Indians organization.
Benson was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the first round of the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft [1] out of The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, Georgia.[2] He was committed to play college baseball for the Duke Blue Devils,[3] but instead chose to sign with the Indians. He made his professional debut with the AZL Indians where he posted a .209 batting average with six home runs and 27 RBIs.[4] In 2017, he played for the Mahoning Valley Scrappers where he batted .238 with ten home runs and 36 RBIs in 56 games.[5]

Bobby Bradley (born May 29, 1996) is an American professional baseball first baseman in the Cleveland Indians organization.
Bradley attended Harrison Central High School in Gulfport, Mississippi.[6]
Bradley was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the third round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft.[7][8] He signed with the Indians rather than play college baseball at Louisiana State University.[9] Bradley made his professional debut that season with the Arizona League Indians. He won the Arizona League Triple Crown after leading the league in batting average (.361), home runs (eight) and runs batted in (50).[10] After the season, he was named the league's MVP.[11] Following his breakout 2014 season, Bradley spent 2015 with the Lake County Captains where he posted a .269 batting average with 27 home runs and 92 RBIs. Bradley spent 2016 with the Lynchburg Hillcats where he batted .235 with 29 home runs and 102 RBIs. In 2017, Bradley played for the Akron RubberDucks where he hit .251 with 23 home runs and 89 RBIs, along with posting a .796 OPS.[12]
MLB.com ranked Bradley as Cleveland's third ranked prospect going into the 2018 season.[13]

Mitch Brown

Mitchell Brown (born April 13, 1994) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Cleveland Indians organization.
Brown attended Century High School in Rochester, Minnesota.[14] As a senior, he was the St. Paul Pioneer Press baseball player of the year.[15] Brown was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the second round of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft.[16]
Brown signed with the Indians and made his professional debut with the Arizona League Indians. In eight starts he posted a 2–0 record and 3.58 ERA. He spent 2013 with the Arizona League Indians and Lake County Captains where he compiled a combined 3–5 record and 6.78 ERA in 17 games (15 starts), and spent 2014 with Lake County[17] where he pitched to an 8–8 record and 3.31 ERA in 27 starts. In 2015, Brown pitched for the Lynchburg Hillcats where he compiled a combined 9–12 record and 5.15 ERA in 27 games (26 starts), and in 2016, he played with once again played for Lynchburg, going 4–6 with a 5.03 ERA in 98.1 innings pitched. He spent 2017 with the Akron RubberDucks where he compiled a 1–2 record and 6.33 ERA in 33 relief appearances.[18]

Yu Chang

Yu-Cheng Chang (Chinese: 張育成; pinyin: Zhāng Yùchéng; born August 18, 1995) is a Taiwanese professional baseball shortstop in the Cleveland Indians organization.
Chang signed with the Indians in 2013 for a $500,000 signing bonus.[19] He made his professional debut in 2014 with the AZL Indians, where he batted .346 with six home runs, 25 RBIs and a .986 OPS in 42 games. He spent 2015 with the Lake County Captains where he posted a .232 average with nine home runs and 52 RBIs. In 2016, while playing for the Lynchburg Hillcats, Chang was named a Carolina League all-star.[20] Chang finished 2016 with a .259 batting average with 13 home runs and 70 RBI.[21] He spent 2017 with the Akron RubberDucks where he hit .220 with a career high 24 home runs and 66 RBIs, along with a .461 slugging percentage.[22] The Indians added him to their 40-man roster after the season.[23]
MLB.com ranked Chang as Cleveland's sixth best prospect going into the 2018 season.[13]

Aaron Civale

Aaron James Civale (born June 12, 1995) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Cleveland Indians organization.
Civale attended Loomis Chaffee School in East Windsor, Connecticut and played college baseball at the Northeastern University.[24][25] He was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the third round of the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft.[26][27]
Civale signed and spent 2016 with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers[28] where he was 0–2 with a 1.67 ERA and 0.82 WHIP in 13 starts. In 2017, he played for both the Lake County Captains and Lynchburg Hillcats, posting a combined 13–6 record, 3.28 ERA, and 1.06 WHIP in 27 total starts between the two teams.[29]

Joshua Martin (born December 30, 1989) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Cleveland Indians organization.
Martin played college baseball at Samford University. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 25th round of the 2011 Major League Baseball draft, but did not sign and returned to Samford. He was then drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 10th round of the 2012 MLB draft.[30] Martin was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 2015 Rule 5 draft.[31] The Padres returned Martin to the Indians on April 12, 2016.

Zach Robert Plesac (born January 21, 1995) is an American baseball pitcher in the Cleveland Indians organization.
He was born in Crown Point, Indiana and attended Crown Point High School, where he earned accolades.[32] He joined Ball State in 2014 and went 12–2 with a 2.11 ERA and six saves in 25 games (six starts) to earn Collegiate Baseball Newspaper Freshman Pitcher of the Year honors. He was also named to the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings All-Midwest Region Team, a National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Freshman All-American, a Louisville Slugger Third Team All-American, the Mid-American Conference Freshman Pitcher of the Year and a Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American. In 2015, he was 5–5 with a 3.27 ERA in 16 starts to earn All-MAC Second Team honors.[33] He also played for the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod League that year.[34] Scout.com says he "has a chance to be a top-three round selection [in 2016]."[35]
His uncle, Dan Plesac, played in the major leagues.[36] Another uncle, Joe Plesac, played in the minor leagues.
He was taken in the 12th round of the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft by the Cleveland Indians and signed on June 29, 2016, but did not play in 2016. He began his professional career in 2017 with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers, and after posting a 1.38 ERA in 26 innings, he was promoted to the Lake County Captains where he finished the season, posting a 1–1 record with a 3.60 ERA in six starts.[37]

Blaze Ka'ai Tom (born May 29, 1994) is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Cleveland Indians organization.
Tom graduated from Saint Louis School in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he played baseball and football, in 2012.[38] He was teammates with future Heisman Trophy winner and NFL first round pick Marcus Mariota.[39] After going undrafted in the 2012 MLB Draft, he enrolled at Fort Scott Community College in Fort Scott, Kansas, and played for their baseball team. He then transferred to the University of Kentucky in 2014 and joined their baseball team. In 2015, as a junior, he batted .375 with five home runs, 51 RBIs, 15 doubles and 16 stolen bases.[40] He was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the fifth round of the 2015 MLB Draft.[41]
Tom signed and made his professional debut that same season with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers where he batted .283 with three home runs and 29 RBIs in 66 games. He played in only 28 games in 2016, with the Lake County Captains, due to injury. In 2017, he played with the Lynchburg Hillcats where he slashed .254/.340/.418 with ten home runs, 65 RBIs, and 23 stolen bases in 126 games.[42] He began 2018 with the Akron RubberDucks.
