Triston Andrew McKenzie (born August 2, 1997) is an American professional baseball pitcher in the Cleveland Indians organization.
He was drafted by the Indians in Lottery Round A in the 2015 MLB draft out of Royal Palm Beach High School in Royal Palm Beach, Florida.[1][2][3] McKenzie spent 2015, his first professional season, with the AZL Indians where he posted a 0.75 ERA in 12 innings pitched. McKenzie began 2016 with the Mahoning Valley Scrappers before being promoted to the Lake County Captains; he posted a combined 1.62 ERA with 104 strikeouts in 83.1 innings pitched between the two teams.[4] In 2017, McKenzie played for the Lynchburg Hillcats where he posted a 12-6 record with a 3.46 ERA in 25 games started.[5][6] That same year, he pitched in the All-Star Futures Game.[7][8]
MLB.com ranked McKenzie as Cleveland's second ranked prospect going into the 2018 season.[9]
