Bepannah (English: Endless) is a romantic mystery drama show that airs on Colors TV. The show premiered on 19 March 2018 and is produced by Cinevistaas Limited. It stars Harshad Chopda and Jennifer Winget.[1]

Plot

Aditya Hooda and Zoya Siddiqui are two individuals brought together through their spouses' betrayal.

Aditya and Zoya learn that their spouses Pooja and Yash have been found dead together in a road accident and discover that the two were having an affair. Aditya channels his grief into anger while Zoya goes into denial. She takes over Yash's company and Aditya declares himself her partner after learning Pooja had invested his money into the company.

Aditya and Zoya receive divorce papers from their spouses that reach them late. Unable to run from the truth anymore, Zoya attempts suicide but is saved by Aditya. As the two bond, a mysterious CBI inspector named Rajveer Khanna enters their lives with a relentless hunger to put them behind bars. He believes that they are guilty for the murder of their spouses and frames the two as such. Having grown to trust one another, Aditya and Zoya go on the run to prove their innocence.

Aditya's father, Harshvardhan Hooda, a top lawyer, proves them innocent. Zoya reads Pooja's diary and learns about the fact that Pooja was pregnant with Yash's child. Reeling from the revelations and unable to understand how to react, Aditya reads Pooja's diary trying to understand her side of the story. Broken but resolute, Aditya and Zoya decide to move on from their past. Together, they forgive Yash and Pooja. Aditya leaves for Paris, wanting time to reflect on himself, while Zoya focuses on reviving her bankrupt company.

6 Months Later

Zoya is a successful entrepreneur; Aditya remains in Paris. Sakshi is being held hostage by Anjana. Zoya supports Noor and Arjun when she comes to know abour their love for each other. After Aditya returns home, he finds Zoya a more confident and assertive person while he himself has become quieter. Their friendship blooms as they begin spending more time together. Aditya feels new emotions arising in his heart for Zoya. He realizes that he has fallen in love with her.

When he decides to confess to her, he comes to know that Waseem is trying to set Zoya up with Arshad Habib, his friend's son. Jealousy hits Aditya as he sees Arshad and Zoya spending time together. Sakshi is aware that it was Anjana who had murdered Pooja and Yash and warns her of the fact. In fear of getting exposed, Anjana pushes Sakshi off a cliff. Aditya fakes a phone call to Arshad sending him to the hospital unaware of the fact that riots were happening in that area. Meanwhile, differences arise between Arjun and Noor. Aditya confesses his love to Zoya due to which she misunderstands him and assumes that the fake phone call was his deliberate attempt to hurt Arshad. Amidst the confusion, Zoya agrees to marry Arshad.

Aditya confronts Zoya and asks her to listen to her heart and accept her true feelings but she remains obstinate. His words continue to linger in her mind as the ceremonies take place. She tries faking a smile but realises that she is genuinely not happy. On the wedding day, Zoya cries remembering her moments with Aditya and is unable to answer when asked if she is willing to marry Arshad. Realising Zoya loves Aditya, Arshad backs off. Zoya accepts having feelings for Aditya due to which Waseem breaks ties with her. Aditya proposes Zoya and they get married, the two promising to always love, trust and stand by each other.

Zoya gets an anonymous message claiming Aditya to be Yash's murderer.

Adaptations

The series is dubbed into Tamil as Marubadiyum on Colors Tamil.

Production

The show was first named Adhura Alvida but was later renamed Bepannaah.[8]

The show was delayed because of a fire that broke out on the sets, due to which a 20-year old technician died. It was reported that the fire fighting system at the studio was not working and the studio failed to get their fire safety system checked and provide an annual certificate to the fire department. Hence, the shooting was put on-hold until proper fire safety system was put in place.[9]
