Sehban Azim is an Indian television actor. He has worked in TV shows like Dill Mill Gayye, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Humsafars and Bepannaah. He also played the lead role in a short film named Stations.
Early life
Azim was born in Delhi.[2] Azim was a student of Dyal Singh College.[1] His mother is a writer and his father is a painter.[1][3] During college days, he used to do small jobs such as a promoter or a coordinator.[1] He left college in second year to pursue a computer course to gain employment.[1] The computer course helped him get a job with an IT firm.[1] Later, he moved to Mumbai to pursue his acting career.[1] He is a poet as well.[4]
Career
In 2008, Azim played the lead role in a short film Stations directed by Emmanuel Quindo Palo.[5] The film was honored with the Best Short Fiction category award at the International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala.[6] In 2010, the film won three National Film Awards for the Best Short Fiction Film and the Best Scientific Film. Azim acted in a small role as Rocky in a Hollywood film, Karma - Crime. Passion. Reincarnation.[7] In 2009-10, he played the role of Dr. Yuvraj Oberoi ain Star One’s popular medical drama Dill Mill Gayye.[8][9]
In 2012, Azim acted in a psychological thriller, 64 Panne.[8][10] In 2012, he played the role of Karan Singh Shekhawat in Star Plus’ TV series Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai.[11] In 2013, Azim played an episodic role of Neel in Yeh Hai Aashiqui.[12][13] In 2010, he also worked in film named Tequila Nights.[14] In 2013, he was seen in Channel V’s Dil Dosti Dance as Aditya Khurana.[15]
In 2014, Azim played the character of Zaki Azim Chaudhary in Sony TV's TV show Humsafars.[16][17] In 2014, Azim played an episodic role of Karan Singh in Zing's Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and of Rohit Kapoor in MTV Webbed.[18][19]
In 2016, he acted in the show Silsila Pyaar Ka.[20] In 2016, Azim entered in Colors TV's show, Thapki Pyaar Ki and played the character of Kabir Katyal . He played the lead role of inspector Ajay Khurana (AK-47) in Udaan.[21]
Currently, he is playing the role of Yash Arora in Colors TV's Bepannaah.
