Aris Babikian (Armenian: Արիս Պապիկեան) is a Canadian politician, who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in the 2018 provincial election.[1] He represents the riding of Scarborough—Agincourt as a member of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario. Prior to, Babikian served as a Citizenship Judge from 2009-2015.
On June 7, 2018, Aris Babikian was elected to Ontario Legislature winning over 50% of the vote, breaking the 30 year Liberal-hold in Scarborough-Agincourt. He is the first Armenian elected to Ontario Legislature.
