Amruta Khanvilkar (Marathi: अमृता खानविलकर) (born 23 November 1984) is an Indian film actress who appears in Bollywood and Marathi movies.
Career
Khanvilkar has appeared in Hindi and Marathi films and established herself as one of Marathi cinema's leading actresses and an accomplished dancer. Her roles in the films Katyar Kaljat Ghusli and Natrang were appreciated. She appeared in Meghna Gulzar's Raazi.[1]
She won the seventh season of the dance reality show Nach Baliye with her husband Himmanshoo A. Malhotra.[2]
Personal life
Khanvilkar belongs to the 96 Kuli Maratha caste.
She married Himmanshoo A. Malhotra on 24 January 2015 in Delhi after being in a relationship with him for more than a decade. Malhotra is an actor and plays Sameer in Zee TV's Aapki Antara and Guddu Shukla in Bhagonwali-Baante Apni Taqdeer.[3]
