Soumya Rai (Also Saumya) is a popular Nepali origin dancer of India. She hails from Darjeeling. She has taken professional coaching from her guru Mr. Raj and specialises in hip-hop. She came into the spotlight as an 8 year old dancer in Boogie Woogie dance competition. After that show she participated in Dance India Dance Li'l Masters (season 2) where she got national recognition as a dancer. She was one of the strongest contestant on the show and the only girl to reach the finale. She was really close to her "skipper" Raghav Juyal. She looks up to Terrence Lewis for inspiration.[1]
