The 2018–19 UAE T20x is an upcoming edition of the UAE T20x Twenty20 (T20) franchise cricket tournament, planned to be held in the United Arab Emirates.[1] It is scheduled to start on 19 December 2018 and finish on 11 January 2019.[1] Five teams are scheduled to take part, playing a total of twenty-two matches.[1][2]
AB de Villiers was named the ambassador of the tournament,[1] with Shahid Afridi, David Miller, Eoin Morgan, Andre Russell and Kumar Sangakkara announced as the icon players.[3][4][5][6]
